Scrimmage with Marion
Kokomo and Marion had a scrimmage on this night to get a little pracice in and also show the crowd the look at this year's teams. Marion looks like in a couple years they will be tough and Kokomo showed that experience will be a factor in games this year. Both teams need a lot of work.

Kokomo at Noblesville
Kokomo Lady Wildkats went to Noblesville and the game played showed some jitters but also some desire to win. This was a game of fouls, mistakes, and some poor calls on the part of the referees. Kokomo got behind right away due to the uncanny shooting from the outside putting in 4 threes by one player. But Kokomo stayed in there and by half time, they were within one point of Noblesville. When they came out in the 2nd half, the coaching of Jason Sydner had made some effect as Kokomo outscored Noblesville by five points giving them a 42 to 38 lead at the end of the 3rd quarter. The 4th quarter was one that had everything as Kokomo was able to keep their lead with Noblesville missing some easy shots while Kokomo hit some very important free throws. This game went to Kokomo by the score of 62 to 59.
Kokomo gets a visit from Northwestern on Saturday night and they had better watch the fouls because Northwestern knows how to hit those free ones. All in all we are happy to be the winners on this night.

Kokomo Versus Northwestern
On a cold rainy Saturday evening, Northwestern came calling to Memorial Gym to take on our Lady WildKats, and the cold was evident in the Junior Varsity game as Northwestern lost to our ladies by a score of 34 to 8.
This set up the Varsity game and Northwestern started off cold and wasn't able to take advantage of errors made by our ladies. At the end of the 1st quarter, it was Kokomo leading 19 to 4. The 2nd quarter was about the same as both teams tried to take the ball in to the basket , and failed due to the defense of the other. At the half , it was Kokomo still leading by the score of 23 to 10. At the 3rd quarter mark, it was Kokomo by a score of Kokomo 32-- Northwestern 23. As the 4th quarter got under way, the Northwestern Tigers started feeling that they could win this game with some pressure defense and making Kokomo foul them. It worked some as the crowd from Northwestern started cheering their team on and the Tigers started hitting the free throws. But Kokomo was up to the task as they had some very timely 3 pointers that helped them keep the lead. Northwestern had lots of rebounds in that 2nd half, but also lots of turnovers. This game ended with Kokomo as the victors and Northwestern knowing that playing Kokomo has to be a plus for them as far as experience. As for our ladies, they need to watch their fouling, work the ball for a better shot, and take advantage of the mistakes of the other team.  Kokomo 47---Northwestern 40

Kokomo versus Logansport

Well, what can I say about tonight's game with Logansport? After the Junior Varsity survived an overtime to defeat the Logansport B team, 34 to 30, our Lady Wildkats took the floor to take on a much improved team that has some experience and a lot of good potential in young ladies coming up. This game got off to a slow start on the part of our ladies and they were behind 11 to 2 with about 2 plus minutes to go in the first quarter. At the end of that 1st quarter it was Logansport on top 11 to 7. The 2nd quarter wasn't much better as it ended with our ladies still on the low end by the score of 16 to 11.The 3rd quarter was a little better but not good enough as Logansport still led 27 to 21. Kokomo had a chance in this game to even the score but did not take advantage of a Logansport mistake and when our coach got a technical for trying to show the referess that the Logansport coach was getting out of his assigned territory, that seemed to do the trick as Logansport was able to add on to their point total and this game ended with Logansport winning this game. Now we can try to holler about the referess, or we can get on the opposing coach, but really folks this game was lost because of errors on our part, poor 3 point shooting, bad positioning when we had the ball, and Logansport's desire to win over a team that has been dominent over them for several years. We need to go back to the training room, get tough, shoot some practice free throws and work on our outside shot. Our lady in the center needs to do the same as she needs to show her opponents that that space under the basket is her's and they better take heed. That will come with more experience but the season goes on whether you lose or you win and desire plays a lot on what you do out there on the floor. We lost this game but I bet that come the next game , coach will have our ladies ready to pound the boards, shoot 3 pointers, take the ball into the basket and make those three throws. So we say right here that we are backing our Lady Wildkats all the way. "GO LADY KATS"
The final score tonight was Logansport 41---Kokomo 30

Kokomo versus Harrison

On this night we saw a Junior Varsity for Kokomo take on a Harrison team that really was not up to their usual game and our ladies won their contest by the score of 31 to 12. Lots of girls hurrying the ball downcourt and thus many ball handling mistakes were made. But this team has a lot of desire and coach has them running the fast break, ball halking on defense, and they want to win, so they will be ok.
When our varsity took the floor, you could see right away that they were going to show the fans that they are better than the game on Saturday. Right away they were looking for Kelly in the center post and she was looking to get the ball and score. Some errors were made but seeing this team tonight go right at the basket gave the crowd a look of improvement and more to come. Kokomo led at the 1st stop by the score of 12 to 7. At the half it was Kokomo leading 24 to 14 and the 3rd quarter ended with Kokomo on top 34 to 20. The final score was 48 to 26. The team tonight was eager to win and their inside game was pretty good. They still need to up their outside game as there are shooters out there that can shoot the lights out. It was a god night for our Kokomo fans and I know the ladies enjoyed this game too. Great game and you can look for improvement each game as coach will continue to press the need to play team ball and to keep that desire to excell in our team.

Kokomo at Muncie Central

A trip to Muncie Central was in store for our Lady Wildkats and the junior varsity took right up on showing they were not going home without a win. Kokomo easily defeated Muncie B team by the score of 56 to 16
The varsity took the floor and had one nightmare of shooting as they only hit 19 of 61 shots. But they did one whale of a job rebounding as they excelled in that department 51 to 36. Muncie led almost the entire game leading at the 1st stop, 9 to 8, at the half, 20 to 17, at the 3rd quarter mark, 35 to 31, and finally Kokomo was able to tie the game at regulation time 47 to 47. It took an overtime to take this win back to Kokomo, but we did it. This game was won on the boards and that meant that Muncie had less chances to put the ball in the basket. Woodard and Hopkins finished out the game with double -doubles as Hopkins had 13 points and 15 rebounds and Woodard had 16 points and 15 rebounds. Great job by the front line tonight. Now all we have to do is do a litle more work on our outside shooting. It will come but not soon enough for this guy. I love those long outside shots. Well anyway, our Lady WildKats brought home the wins and that is good for this week.

Kokomo versus Peru

A rare Monday game for the fans of our Lady Wildkats and it was cold and slick outside. The Junior Varsity started off with bad ball handling on both sides and the shooting was kind of bad too on both sides. At the 1st stop Peru led 3 to 2 and the 2nd quarter heated up on our side while Peru was colder than it was outside. The 3rd quarter was low scoring with Kokomo leading at that stop 20 to 8. The final score on this game was 26 to 14 with our Ladies on top.

The Varsity took the floor and right away it looked like this game was going to be a repeat of the 1st game with both teams only scoring 9 points at the end of the 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter our ladies got behind at the half way mark by the score of 19 to 14 in favor of Peru. It wasn't much better in the 3rd quarter as Peru held on to the lead 33 to 27. It looked like Kokomo was going to drop this game on Peru's Christmas list but suddenly something woke our ladies up and they started making their way back, These are the games that cause a cardiac moment as our ladies were able to finaly take the lead and from that moment the result of this games hinged on who wanted it the most. Kokomo survived this night but we have to find a way to get all to thinking that we are here to win because we want it more than our opponent. Thanks to Shurn and the rest of our "Kariac Kats" for pulling this one out at the end. This game could provide valuable experience to the whole team that you need to get into a rhythm and use that great coaching from the coach to an advantage each and every game. This game was won by our LadyKats by the score of  48 to 45.
Man, I need to rest after this one.

Kokomo at Western

The Lady WildKats took their game to the halls of Western High School on this rainy evening to take on the Lady Panthers and they showed how powerful they could be, if all the ingredients of team play come into being. The Junior Varsity started off this night with a fairly easy contest with Western's Junior Varsity. That game was won by Kokomo 35 to 18.

The Varsity game got under way right afterward and this was a contest that had foul problems for our ladies but the bench provided some great help on the boards, scoring, and defensive play. This game had Kokomo leading throughout the contest and the scoring from the front line showed up tonight. Western provided a zone in order to keep the front line from scoring but our backcourt worked the ball until either there was an open man underneath or a shot available from the outside. Hopkins is starting to show what a good big post player is supposed to do and Woodard is playing her regular good game. Kokomo led at all stops in this one with the score at 1st stop was 10 to 7, at the half it was 28 to 16, the third quarter stop was 42 to 29, and the final was 61 to 48. Kokomo had 25 fouls and Western committed 18 fouls. Rebounds was in favor of Kokomo with the Lady Kats pulling down 48 and Western pulling down 15. The turnovers were about even as Kokomo had 15 and Western had 14.This was a good game but I think that our Lady Kats can do a lot better with their foul problems and with the errors. Our backcourt is capable of making the 3 pointers but so far that has not happened this season. It still is a long season to go and NCC play is going to be tough because most of those teams that we have dominated are better and they will want to take it right to us.  The score of this game was Kokomo 61 --Western 48.

Kokomo at Huntington North

It was time to take a trip to Huntington North who always seems to have great teams ready to play basketball. The night as usual started off with the Junior Varsity game which Huntington North won by the score of 36 to 32. Our Junior Ladies took it on the chin in this one.

Then our Ladies' Varsity took the floor and really we were a little cold in that 1st quarter {someone, please close that door so we can warm up} and at that 1st stop we were behind 15 to 12. {That was ok cause we were a little warmer now and shots will fall.} . Well, they were warm too and that 2nd quarter was played sort of even, making the score 29 to 24 at the half. The 3rd quarter saw Huntington North sort of increase their lead a little and by the end of the 3rd quarter it was Huntington North still leading by the score of 45 to 35. Our Ladies then started their climb up and outscored North 22 to 13 but it just wasn't enough , as Huntington North won this NCC game 58 to 57. {Oh, but if we had a couple of those free throws we would be heading home with a win, but I bet we learned something from this game and I am sure that Coach will be working on that in practice. Hopkins played better tonight as she scored 18 points and pulled down several rebounds. Skylar Shurn is playing great and she came on like gangbusters scoring 13 of her 18 points in that 2nd half. She also pulled down 8 rebounds. So we just go back home and work on those things we need to be on top of. We won't give up just because of a loss, and I am sure that this lost will be part of the learning curve in practice.}  The final score was Huntington North 58--Kokomo 57

Kokomo at Carmel

Well, what can we say about this game except it could of been worse. On this terrible evening with the roads being very slick, it would of been nice if this game had been cancelled. But the game did go on and our Junior Varsity got this evening stated with a loss to Carmel by the score 39 to 33

Our Varsity took the floor and at the start of this game we were up 6 to 5, but then the door closed on making points and Carmel had a defense that tonight would of stopped the Pacers from scoring. Believe it or not, our ladies scored only 1 point in the 2nd quarter and only 2 in the 3rd quarter. This game was never in doubt as Carmel put the stops to about everything we did. We did do good in the 4th quarter with 19 points but by then we were so far behind, it was no chance to win this one. We had no 3 pointers and we were out-rebounded 37 to 35. Carmel committed only 15 fouls while Kokomo had 11. Errors were bad as trying to play against that type of defense is very hard to do and they were good at their game. Maybe we will learn from this game and the only way to do that is to go back to what went wrong, work to keep it from happening again and get ready to play the next opponent and win that game
THE FINAL SCORE OF THIS GAME WAS CARMEL 58 --KOKOMO 28

Kokomo versus Marion

Hey, the Marion Lady Giants came to town to take on our Lady Kats and the Junior Varsity took the floor first and this game was played very well as our ladies led throughout the game leading at the 1st stop, 6 to 5, at the half, 18 to 15, at the 3rd quarter mark, 26 to 19 and the final score was 40 to 33. Lisa Hopkins came though with 11 points and Jenny Brown scored 8. Nice game to have before the Varsity took to the floor.

Then our Lady Wildkat Varsity came out and right away got a 9 point lead before Marion scored on a free throw. This was a welcome game to watch because our ladies went out to show us that the poor performance at the game before at Carmel was just having a bad night. But you get over things like that by playing the next game as hard and smart as you can, and on this cold afternoon, they did just that. I don't usually single out a particular player but this game was one where Woodard showed everyone her skills. Woodard had 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Abby Hemmeger played a smart game and scored some valuable points even though she is still hampered with her ankle injury. She scored 13 points. Kelly Hopkins did a great job rebounding, and the rest of the team did their job well in assists and few mistakes. At the 1st stop, it was 9 to 1 in favor of Kokomo. At the half it was Kokomo leading 22 to 14 and at the 3rd quarter mark, it was Kokomo leading 41 to 21, and the final score was 55 to 41.
The score of this NCC battle was Kokomo 55--Marion 41.

Kokomo at Oak Hill

For a game that had been postponed on Tuesday and played on Thursday, our LadyKats went to Oak Hill to take on the Golden Eagles who are known to be about the best of 2A teams this year. Our Junior Varsity took it right to Oak Hill in their game and came away with a win by the score of 34 to 13.
Then our Varsity took the floor and right away, they saw how a good floor pressure game should be played. Oak Hill missed a few shots early in the 1st quarter but they did take control of the game and Kokomo was behind the rest of the night. Shurn and Hemmenger took the balll right to the basket but it just wasn't enough as Oak Hill caused Kokomo to have 20 turnovers to only having 12 on their team. Kokomo did out-rebound Oak Hill, but if you don't put it in the hole then no points show up on the board. Kokomo shot 12 times from beyond the arc and only made 1 of them. This game was all Oak Hill as they won this game by the score of 57 to 36. It looks like Coach and his crew will be working late trying to get this team where it should be and that is on the winning side of the scoreboard. Yes the team is young and on certain nights you wil have great games and on others you will have games such as this one. You have to go on the floor with the attitude that we will win this game and we will show the fans that we deserve their praise. Maybe next game we can do just that. Anyway, the score tonight was Oak Hill 57 Kokomo 36.

Saturday Jan. 10, 2009 at 12:00pm Noon
Kokomo at Richmond

Traveling on the cold ice-covered roads, our Ladykats took the trip to Richmond to play the Red Devils. In the Junior Varsity game, our ladies defeated Richmond 30 to 26
Kind of bruised from the game before at Oak Hill, when it seemed like nothing went right, our ladies took it right to Richmond and put the pedal to the floor in dominating their opponent. Kelly had a great game as did Woodard when they scored a total of 30 points between them.Kokomo outrebounded Richmond 37 to 20, but they also had 26 turnovers in the game. The 1st quarter mark was Kokomo leading 14 to 9, the halftime score was 27 to 19 and the 3rd quarter mark was 43 to 20, with the final score being 58 to 36. Not a bad game to take home with us on that long cold slick trip to Kokomo. Now we need to go back to the charts and get our ladies prepared for the balance of the season as there are still some good teams out there who would really want to take on our ladies.  Kokomo 58 Richmond 36

Kokomo at Lafayette Jeff

Another cold trip to play basketball for our LadyKats as they traveled to Lafayette Jeff to play one of the best teams in the state. The evening began good with our Junior Varsity taking their game in a close one, 49 to 48.
Then it was getting down to business for our varsity but evidently it did not start well as Jeff tried to blow us away right at the start. Needless to say, this group of young ladies know how to play the game as they fired away with the 3 pointers , hitting 9 of 34 attempts. Hey, if you don't guard them and you give them the shot, they are going to make them and they did just that. Kokomo was only able to make 2 of 8 on 3 point attempts and you can't win that way. Kokomo had 26 turnovers to Jeff's 12. Foul trouble was a problem with both Hopkins and Shurn. Rebounding was about the same on both teams with Kokomo pulling down a few more than Jeff. Woodard was great on the boards as well as putting 12 points on the scoreboard. Jeff had the power shooters firing away and this game was all Jeff's as the score at the 1st stop was 14 to 9, at the half 33 to 24, the 3rd quarter mark 56 to 42 and the final score was 76 to 57. I guess that you can say we are having problems getting the ball to the basket but tonight you have to admit that Jeff is one great team and they will prevail at tourney time, unless someone finds a way to derail them.
THE SCORE OF THIS GAME WAS LAFAYETTE 76 --KOKOMO 57

Saturday Jan. 17, 2009 at 12:00 Noon
Kokomo at New Castle

Another cold trip to play New Castle this week and the Trojans are on a tear as they are playing the best basketball in years. Right away it looks doom for our Ladies as our Junior Varsity took it on the chin for a knockout by the score of 41 to 26.
Then our varsity took the floor and right away New Castle put an armlock on us and outscored us 20 to 7 in the 1st quarter.. The Lady WildKats were without one of their most consistent players as Clarissa Woodard was not playing due to an injury. Kokomo was out rebounded 31 to 25 and they commited 15 turnovers in the game Our ladies were only able to make 4 of 15 shots from beyond the arc and that probaly tells the story right there. Anyway we are still waiting for those guards to light it up with the shooting we know they have. New Castle led throughout this game with the score at the half was 27 to 16, the 3rd quarter mark was 34 to 27 and the final score was 51 to 41. Not a great way to get ready for the big fiasco in Chicago but then our ladies are still young and with time they might surprise someone. Just not tonight.
Final score was New Castle 51 Kokomo 41

Kokomo in Chicagoland Classic versus Driscoll of Addison

Our Lady WildKats took their game to Chicago to play in the McDonald's shootout, where they took on one of Illinois's undefeated teams, Driscoll of addison, Ill, and for most of the game our ladies were in command but Driscoll took over the 4th quarter and forced an overtime and went on to take the game away from the fingertips of our Lady WildKats. Kokomo led at the 1st quarter mark 15 to 5, at the half it was 30 to 22, and at the 3rd stop it was still Kokomo leading 44 to 30. But Driscoll reached way down and pulled out their best and they outscored Kokomo 22 to 8 to tie the game. Once the overtime was started, and with our center, Hopkins fouling out, Driscoll was able to feed inside and win this game. This was a game, we should of won but we didn't. Kokomo played their hearts out and still it wasn't enough. Kokomo made only 5 of 14 "3 pointers" They stayed with Driscoll in rebounds pulling down 31 to Driscoll's 34. They had 22 turnovers to Driscoll's 19, and They had 20 fouls to Driscoll's 15. This was a game we should of won, but we didn't, so we use this as an exercise in learning. We have to play the whole game, and we can't let up on our pressure on the other team. We need to find out why our shooters, who can hit the shots, are missing them. In just about every game we have lost, we could of won the game with at least a couple more shots beyond the arc falling in the basket. A few less turnovers could of done the same. A few less fouls would of made a big difference. But all that can only be pointed out to those players and they have to be the ones to do the work. Well anyway, the game was another piece of the game plan needed to make this team better.
Final score of this game was Driscoll 64 ; Kokomo 61..

Kokomo versus McCutcheon

Well, this home game is on an odd night of Thursday, and our ladies will try to get back on track, after being derailed in the last 3 games. The night started off on a sour note with our Junior Varsity playing one of it's worst in the school's history losing 29 to 27 to McCutcheon.. I can't say anything more than that we need to go back to the drawing board and show them how to play.
The Varsity took the floor and right away it looked like Kokomo was hungry enough to show the fans that they were out to take this game without problems. Kokomo led at the 1st stop 12 to 8 and at the half, Kokomo still led 24 to 14. McCutcheon looked like they didn't know what to do with the ball, and the fans were cheering on our team. But in the 2nd half, whatever the McCutcheon coach said to his team, made some difference at they came out playing to win. McCutcheon led at the 3rd quarter mark 38 to 34 and won this game by the final score of 46 to 44.
Now here is where I go on this game and I always try not to lay blame for a team's loss but it has to be said. The three men in the striped shirts litterly blew this game as they called traveling when it was only head fakes. They called fouls that shouldn't of been called and they took our center out of the game calling fouls when it was just good hands up high defense. It is hard to play a game against 8 players on the floor. And too, we have to question why our guards have problems bringing the ball up court. Also why aren't these guards who can shoot the ball with good accursacy making the 3 pointers? Kokomo tried 13 shots and made only 1. The rebounds were about even with McCutcheon wining that by 34 to 29. Kokomo committed 20 fouls , or at least they were called on 20 fouls. It is a shame that the referees can decide how a game is played.
So in a short look at tonight's game , I have to say that our LadyKats have to get their game back on line like they are capable of doing. We can't do it in the stands, and the coaches can only show them what is wrong and how to make it better. The 5 ladies on the floor have to want it enough that they will play their hearts out to win.
The final score tonight was McCutcheon 46 Kokomo 44

Kokomo versus Anderson

The Junior Varsity won their game easily by the score of 41 to 14.
In the varsity game, after 4 straight losses, our ladies were ready to lay the hammer down and Anderson came to town spoiling for a victory over our LadyKats while they were down and still licking their wounds from those losses.
But our guard {Shurn} wasn't about to let that happpen, and she put on a show with speed and accurcy as it seemed she wanted to put this game away early. Hopkins did her part and she looked great in the second half getting position under the basket and ready to receive the ball at any time. Woodard was doing her job defending against the star player on Anderson's team. But that left Anderson's McCullogh open for some hot shooting and good free throw making and some snake drives to the basket. I am glad she is a senior. This game at the 1st stop was Kokomo ahead 18 to 6, at the half 31 to 19, at the 3rd quarter stop 47 to 30 and at the final 66 to 50. Considering Woodard was holding down her opponent, and still getting 9 points, I must say that she did her part before fouling out with 5 fouls. And Hemmeger played her heart out all over the floor as she never gave up on going after the ball. And Kali did her usual good game bringing the ball upcourt and finding the open player. Kokomo won the rebounds 44 to 30. Kokomo had 21 turnovers and Anderson had 15. Kokomo also had 21 fouls and Anderson had 27 fouls. This was a team effort with all the players doing their part to finish out this NCC season. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
I enjoyed it and I know you did too.

Kokomo versus Westfield "HOME"

Our Junior Varsity played their last game of this season winning by the score of 35 to 28. The season record is 12 & 5.

The Varsity tonight took on Westfield who have a 16 & 3 record, and for a while it looked like both teams would rather be playing something else as this was a very low scoring game for about 3 quarters. But in the 4th quarter our great guard Shurn, again took the ball right at Westfield , and she tallied up 25 points along with important rebounds and also 4 steals. Hopkins chipped in with 9 points and 4 rebounds. Woodard pulled down 8 rebounds but she was, as was Hopkins, bottled up by presure from Westfield. Westfield had a good game plan to make sure our post ladies were denied the chance to score off the boards. This game at the 1st quarter mark was 10 to 2 in favor of Kokomo ,as was the half time score 17 to 14 in favor of our Kats. Westfield took command at the 3rd quarter mark being ahead 29 to 25, but Kokomo outscored Westield 22 to 13 to win this contest, ending the seson for our LadyKats with a season record of 10 wins & 8 losses. This game could do several things toward what our LadyKats might be able to do in the tourney. One loss and it's go home and wait for next season to start. This game could show our ladies that you have to find ways to win the game, never give up and learn to take the game to the other team. Keep going as hard as you can and watch for the open man.
The final score tonight was 47 to 42 in favor of our Kokomo Lady WildKats.

ISHAA STATE TOURNEY STARTS NOW.

Well, our season of The Kokomo Lady WildKats is over as they lost to McCutcheon in the sectional. Once again this was one of those games where we raced to a big lead only to let the other team come back and so it is lose 1 game and go home. The LadyKats had this game under control in the 1st quarter 15 to 1. In the 2nd quarter, we let them off the hook as McCutcheon put 16 points on the board and that quarter ended 26 to 17 in favor of our LadyKats. McCutcheon kept their momentum and was in the lead at the 3rd stop 38 to 35. Kokomo is still in this game as after McCutcheon tied the score at 52 all, Kokomo had the ball with 1 minute left and all they had to do was bring the ball up the court, set up their play and win this game. But they didn't get the ball up to the 10 second line and McCutcheon got the ball. They shot with a few seconds left ,missed that shot but got the rebound and put it back at the buzzer. This was a heartbreaker in that we should of won this game but we couldn't close them out. Hopkins had 17 points, Shurn had 7 points Woodard had 11 points, Hemmeger had 7 points and Ackison had 6 points. Kokomo had 30 rebounds to McCutcheon having 27, and the fouls were about even with Kokomo having 14 and McCutcheon having 12.
It is wait until next year when our LadyKats will have all but 2 players back. Just maybe in the off season, our ladies will learn how to close a game out on the win side and I think they can do this as there will be some players coming up that might give us the stability to withstand whatever the other teams throw at us. It sure would of been nice to see this set of ladies go on with some more wins but for now, we lick our wounds, get stronger both on the physical and on the mental scene. You have to believe that you can win this game. You have to follow the path that Coach Snyder draws on his board, and you have to do it all game long. Anyway, thanks to our Lady WildKats for this season as we love to watch Lady WildKat Basketball. See you next year.
